Farnborough Centre for Health

Rushmoor Borough Council has been working with NHS North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to create a new integrated care centre, which will provide a much needed space for a new ‘health hub’ to accommodate a co-located GP practice and other community care services.

The CCG was successful in obtaining planning permission for a change of use of the building in November 2017. Following the purchase of the building in March this year, Rushmoor Borough Council can now implement the conversion works that will create the new ‘health hub’ within the existing building.

The development seeks to provide a modern facility that inspires and supports safe, effective and efficient patient care for the people of Farnborough; with the flexibility to meet future developments in healthcare and technology.

We anticipate that the building refurbishment and re-modelling works will commence in Autumn 2019, with the aim of the new centre being open for service in the summer of next year.
