Following two years at Secretarial College Diana started her working career with an estate agency in Dorking as the office junior. Within two years she had been promoted to PA to the proprietor and was also manager of the small portfolio of rental properties.
Diana joined BPG in 1989, just a year after their inception when the practice was rapidly expanding, as a team secretary. Over the years her knowledge of the practice has made her an invaluable part of the team and she is now Office Manager and Senior Secretary.

Colm is a Building Surveyor and has been working in the construction industry for over thirty years. Prior to joining BPG in 2007 he worked for ten years within a Local Authority and gained vast experience in providing supervisory, professional and technical services to Education and Housing clients as well as the end users. Colm is experienced in the preparation of feasibility studies and supervising projects from inception through to completion.

Karim joined BPG in March 2024 bringing with her the technical knowledge and skills developed throughout her career. She specialises in residential and façade remediation projects.

Abigail joined BPG as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in 2023 following her graduation from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in BA(Hons) Architecture.
In 2024, with the support of BPG, Abigail began her Level 7 Architect Degree Apprenticeship back at Portsmouth University, where she is currently working towards her Part 2 and 3 qualifications. Studying alongside her role at BPG has helped Abigail to gain a deeper understanding of how academic concepts translate into practice through this integrated approach, allowing her to immediately apply her university learning to live projects.
Within BPG, Abigail supports the team across a wide range of projects spanning RIBA Stages 3 to 6, which has enabled her to develop a broad and adaptable skill set. Her particular focus on Stages 4 and 5 has provided her with valuable experience in construction detailing, requiring her to meet the evolving needs of each project.

Robin graduated from Greenwich University in 1979 and in 1988 with Michael Brodie and John Plant established Brodie Plant Goddard.
Robin’s experience includes housing projects, both new build and refurbishment with particular knowledge of sheltered housing and disabled adaptations; improvement works to commercial property, Police Authority buildings and court premises; works within schools and other educational establishments as well as works to private residential property.

Passivhaus Certified Designer
Rosemary joined BPG in 2014 as a graduate from the University of Nottingham where she gained her Part 1 degree: MEng (Hons) in Architecture and Environmental Design.
Rosemary went on to complete her Part II Professional Diploma: Architecture & Advanced Energy Studies at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales – furthering her interest and skills in sustainable and low energy design. Rosemary has since completed her Part III examination at the University of Portsmouth to attain both ARB & RIBA Chartered Architect status and a Certified Passivhaus Designer.

Chris’s career started in 1985 at the Department of Environment’s Property Services Agency. Four years later, he joined BPG as a Building Surveyor, became an Associate in 1995 and Director and shareholder in 2002.
Contract Administration for multi-million projects is Chris’s specialty, predominately in the public sector for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, and has particular expertise in implementing Partnering schemes to deliver long-term Decent Homes programmes. Chris also fulfils the role of quantity surveyor, giving complete responsibility of projects from initial design to final account.

Maria trained at Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura, Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. She moved to the UK in 2004 and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture at the University of Westminster. She was appointed an Associate at BPG in September 2019.
Prior to joining BPG she worked for 7 years for an architectural practice specialising in education projects from client briefing stage to completion. Her previous project experience includes retail and residential refurbishment projects.

Toby joined BPG in 2019 specialising in visualisation, documentation and technical drawing. He has a keen interest in BIM and Architectural Technology as well as sustainability and retrofit projects. Throughout his career he has worked on several well known commercial and many high-end residential projects. In addition to creating technical information he has also produced accompanying marketing materials.

Samuel graduated with First Class Honours in Part 1 Architecture from the University of Plymouth in 2020 and completed his Part 2 Master’s degree with a distinction in 2024. His academic work focused on sustainable, community-led design and was recognised with multiple awards, including the KTA Design Award for integrating emerging AI technologies into architectural workflows.
He joined BPG Architects + Surveyors in 2021, gaining experience in residential and high-rise façade remediation projects with a strong focus on fire safety. Since returning to BPG in 2024, Samuel has taken on greater responsibility within the technical design stage, including site visits across London and further afield.

Lakeer is a qualified Architect who completed his RIBA Part 1 at Nottingham Trent University, his Master’s degree (RIBA Part 2) at London Southbank University, and his RIBA Part 3 at the University of Greenwich. He joined BPG in 2024 and has experience working across all RIBA stages with a broad range of clients, from main contractors to private residential clients. Prior to joining BPG,
Lakeer gained valuable experience at a multidisciplinary practice delivering residential, transport, and cultural projects for local authority clients. At BPG, Lakeer is actively involved in façade remediation, residential conversions, and feasibility studies, with a particular focus on fire safety and regulatory compliance.

At BPG, Georgia has assisted on a range of projects across RIBA Stages 3-6.
