This project involved re-modelling, refurbishing and new build to a light industrial estate in Dorking, Surrey.

Existing large units once burgeoning with new copies of Beatrix Potter books, which were produced and distributed from there had lain empty for a number of years. Brodie Plant Goddard was commissioned to devise and specify a scheme for fully refurbishing the existing large sheds to provide four new fully independent units. This ultimately involved the demolition of parts of the estate to improve vehicle access and traffic flow. To replace the lost industrial space and recoup some yield from the site overall, four smaller new build business units were designed to fit within the new scheme.

The £1.4million project was completed in ten months.
