Robin graduated from Greenwich University in 1979 and in 1988 with Michael Brodie and John Plant established Brodie Plant Goddard.
Robin’s experience includes housing projects, both new build and refurbishment with particular knowledge of sheltered housing and disabled adaptations; improvement works to commercial property, Police Authority buildings and court premises; works within schools and other educational establishments as well as works to private residential property.
Chris’s career started in 1985 at the Department of Environment’s Property Services Agency. Four years later, he joined BPG as a Building Surveyor, became an Associate in 1995 and Director and shareholder in 2002.
Contract Administration for multi-million projects is Chris’s specialty, predominately in the public sector for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, and has particular expertise in implementing Partnering schemes to deliver long-term Decent Homes programmes.
Chris also fulfills the role of quantity surveyor, giving complete responsibility of projects from initial design to final account.
Roger trained at the Architectural Association and has 40 years experience in construction. Since joining BPG as a full equity director in 2001 Roger has managed the Architectural Studio within the practice. He has an in-depth experience of the design and delivery of projects from master planning to detailed technical design. Specialist skills include education buildings, community projects, housing of all types and health care buildings.
Roger has a passion for design and technology and has encouraged the practice to develop sustainable design principles at the core of the business. Key strengths include project management and team leading, bidding for new work and excellent delivery of projects with tight budgets and timescales.
Colm is a Building Surveyor and has been working in the construction industry for nearly twenty five years.
Prior to joining BPG in 2007 he worked for ten years within a Local Authority and gained vast experience in providing supervisory, professional and technical services to Education and Housing clients as well as the end users.
Colm is experienced in carrying out works under the Disability Discrimination Act and the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007; he is also experienced in the preparation of feasibility studies and supervising projects from inception through to completion. Current projects with which Colm is involved include two major commercial refurbishment schemes and a number of new housing developments.
Samantha joined BPG in 2006 as a Graduate from Brighton University where she gained a BA(Hons) in Architecture. With the support of BPG she went on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture with Distinction in 2010 at the University of Portsmouth and completed her final year of studies to become a fully Chartered Architect in January 2012. She was appointed an Associate at BPG in September 2016.
Samantha’s experience at BPG includes work on a new teaching block for a girl’s school in Fulham, a project that she was involved with since its initial conceptual design stages.
Other works in the educational sector include work on a courtyard infill for a local primary school, Powell Corderoy, Eastbrook Primary School, RGS Guildford, Norbury Primary School and Holy Trinity School.
Following relocation of the PDSA, Diana joined BPG in 1989, just a year after their inception when the practice was rapidly expanding, as a team secretary. Over the years her knowledge of the practice has made her an invaluable part of the team and she is now Office Manager and Senior Secretary.
Dip Arch ARB
Maria trained at Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura, Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. She moved to the UK in 2004 and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture at the University of Westminster. She was appointed an Associate at BPG in September 2019.
Prior to joining BPG she worked for 7 years for an architectural practice specialising in education projects from client briefing stage to completion. Her previous project experience includes retail and residential refurbishment projects.
During these years she has proven herself to be an extremely capable architect in management and design terms, taking a particular interest in specification writing and interiors. Furthermore she has gained extensive experience of contract administration, site overseeing and of working in projects within the context of ‘live’ buildings where the continued use of the development is required by the client during construction phases.
Jochen is a fully qualified architect who trained at the Fachhochschule Darmstadt in Germany. In 1997, immediately after gaining a first for his architectural diploma, Jochen moved to the UK.
Since then he has worked in senior roles for a number of leading architectural practices, mainly in the UK but also in Germany, on a range of high profile projects including being entrusted with a leading role in the development of Heathrow Terminal 5, a large high specification office building in Moscow and a wide range of residential, educational, retail, work space and hospitality projects and the redevelopment of historical Grade II / II* listed buildings.
An experienced, dynamic and versatile architect, Jochen joined BPG in 2017. He is passionate about all aspects of design from conceptual development and detail planning to building completion and is dedicated to developing and maintaining constructive and successful client relationships.
Mark has been working in the construction industry as a Building Surveyor for over eight years.
Mark joined BPG in 2014; he previously worked for another multi-disciplined practice where he demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering projects to extremely high standards, on time and within budget. Mark has gained his experience in supervising projects from client brief to completion for many commercial and educational clients. Mark also has experience of working on several projects where party walls have been a critical feature and has a keen interest in the workings of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 and associated legislation.
Mark brings a strong work ethic and professional attitude to our surveying team.
Peter joined the surveying team at BPG in February 2016 primarily to oversee the £7 million Sidney Estate project for Origin Housing as well as other housing projects in the vicinity for Southern Housing Group.
BA (Hons) MArch
Gvidas joined BPG in 2015 after graduating from London South Bank University where he completed his Part 1 studies and obtained BA (Hons) in Architecture.
Gvidas has gained experience through a variety of projects including works at Castlemaine and Sudbury towers, Horsham and Crawley Hospitals and various residential improvement projects including Colebrook Court and Malthouse Court.
Whilst working at BPG, Gvidas has also completed his Architecture MA course as a part-time student at London South Bank University.
Rosemary joined BPG in 2014 as a graduate from the University of Nottingham where she gained her Part 1 degree: MEng (Hons) in Architecture and Environmental Design.
Rosemary’s experience at BPG includes work on a variety of projects including a traffic management project for The National Trust, Brighton Police Station refurbishment, works at Horsham, Crawley and Burgess Hill hospitals and external wall insulation works at three tower blocks in Southampton.
Toby graduated from Portsmouth University in 2007 with a degree in computer animation. From there his passion for CGI and creating realistic renderings lead him to starting a career as an architectural visualiser.
Toby has been working as an architectural visualiser for over 10 years, in that time he has worked at several architectural practices and as a freelancer. Previous to joining BPG he has produced several large commercial and residential visualisations as well as marketing material to accompany these developments.
Beverley joined BPG in 2019 as a graduate from Oxford Brookes University where she gained a distinction for her Part II degree: MArchD in Applied Design in Architecture (ARB and RIBA part II). During the course, she specialised in Research-led Design and worked in the Bio-Digital Craft design unit where she furthered her knowledge and interest in sustainability and technology.
Previous experience prior to joining BPG includes completing an undergraduate degree at Arts University Bournemouth, achieving a BA(Hons) in Architecture (ARB and RIBA part I), and working as an architectural assistant at a leading architectural practice on an airport in Mexico City and a commercial office tower in New York’s Hudson Yards. Other experience includes residential and infrastructure projects.
