REMOVAL WORKS COMPLETED
Following the completion of the removal works contract, the works for the installation of a new insulated render system at Vineyard Heights have commenced on site and is progressing well.
Vineyard Heights is located on Mortlake High Street, SW14. The multi-use building is comprised of Mortlake Business Centre (spread over ground to 3rd floor), 7 studio units complete with integral garages (multi-level units spread over ground to 3rd floor) & residential apartments and associated fitness centre (spread over floors 3-9). The ground floor level also comprises of car parking and ancillary accommodation & provides access to the upper floors.
Around 2002 the building underwent a major refurbishment, including (but not limited to) the installation of new rendered EPS external wall insulation. In light of current regulations on the use of combustible materials works are required to strip off the existing EPS & render and replace this with a new compliant external wall insulation system to match the existing aesthetic.
Strip-off works to remove the existing EPS insulation and render were undertaken as a separate package of works which have now been completed and the works to reinstate the façade with a new insulated render system (Alsecco Ecomin 300 system) are underway.
